Rhomboid Trigger Point Exercise
In this video POGO Physiotherapist Brad Beer demonstrates how to trigger the commonly tight rhomboid muscles, using a trigger point device (the Pocket Physio).
Area Targeted
Rhomboid muscles between the shoulder blades.
How to Perform the Exercise
- Place the pocket physio on the floor
- find the tight spot and place the point of the pocket physio there
- place your body weight down onto it
- hold for 30-40 seconds per point
- move to different points as necessary
- Spend 2-3 minutes on each side for most effectiveness
