M. Physiotherapy / B. Exercise Science
Why did you become a physio?
I first became interested in physiotherapy in my senior years of high school. I loved interacting with people, challenging myself and had a passion for all things sport. I quickly realised that a career as a physiotherapist could offer me this and so much more. My studies helped reinforce and grow my passion to help people live and perform at their best, doing the things they love to do.
About Lewis:
Lewis grew up on the outskirts of Lismore on the far north coast of NSW. His interest in Physiotherapy prompted a move a couple of hours up the road to the Gold Coast, beginning 5 years of tertiary study at the Gold Coast’s Griffith University. Whilst studying Lewis continued his passion for sports, playing and working alongside university football and netball teams. After graduating with a Bachelor of Exercise Science in 2012, Lewis went on to complete his Master of Physiotherapy in 2014 and has joined the POGO team in early 2015.
Passion:
Lewis enjoys working with all people to achieve their goals. Whether you are experiencing chronic pain, have a sporting injury or just aren’t at 100%, Lewis loves to help you reach and exceed your goals.
What is your favourite animal? Orcas (killer whale)
