POGO Physio wins Gold Coast Business Excellence Award

We were recently thrilled to be awarded a monthly Gold Coast Business Excellence Award for Health & Well-Being.

The Gold Coast Business Excellence Awards are now in their 23rd year.

Over the 23 years the Gold Coast Business Excellence Awards have grown to be recognised as the region’s most comprehensive and prestigious business awards.

While also recognising excellence and leading Gold Coast based businesses the Gold Coast Business Excellence Awards also seek to foster pride in the Gold Coast business community.

POGO Physio was awarded the June Health & Well-Being award for our unique and industry first fixed fee rehabilitation services.

POGO Physio has been the first physiotherapy practice Australia wide to pioneer an alternative to ‘fee for service’ physiotherapy and associated rehabilitation services.

For years POGO Director and Founder had been frustrated with clients not receiving the every best outcomes that could be achieved due to what he believed were major limitations imposed by the traditional fee for service model of physiotherapy.

In July 2016 we introduced our fixed fee unlimited access 2, 6, and 12 week Finish Line® Programs.

The Finish Line® Programs are designed to facilitate the very best clinical outcomes possible through the removal of several barriers that individuals rehabilitating an injury often experience.

These barriers can include:

having rehabilitation needs under serviced due to what can be costly fee for service ‘pay as you go’ traditional care
Uncertainty of how long rehabilitation will take
Uncertainty of how much rehabilitation will cost
Having to attend separate appointments for multiple but co-existing injuries or concerns.

Following the success of the release of the fixed fee unlimited access Finish Line® Programs in July 2017 POGO Physio further released another physiotherapy industry first: monthly fixed fee rehabilitation packs.

These monthly packs called Wellness Boosters™ are available in three tiers; Gold, Silver, and Bronze. Each tier offers different access levels to services such as physiotherapy, clinical pilates, remedial massage therapy, and use of state of the art rehabilitation equipment such as the AlterG anti-gravity treadmill.

Through the release and emerging popularity of our alternate fixed fee injury rehabilitation options we are enjoying seeing more of our clients get back to their physical best following injury and complete their rehabilitation (cross their Physio Finish Line®) all while saving money and recovering faster.

Not only the best in the business in regards to diagnosing and treating injuries but have created and built up over time a very rare form of community and environment that makes you feel welcomed, valued and overall like you apart of something bigger than just getting treatment on an injury. I have seen Brad twice now and he is absolutely fantastic. He is incredibly thorough in his assessment, diagnosis and explaination of both the injury and the process of rehab. Couldn’t recommend him highly enough. The pogo practice also has absolutely everything a runner could want for their rehab process. No stones are left unturned in their pursuit for their patients physical best. From the moment you walk through the door, the team make you feel very welcome and comfortable.
