Transcript
Hi, Sato here at POGO! In this video, I’m gonna show you a standard massage sequence on the quadriceps. The quadriceps femoris (Latin for “four-headed [muscle] of the femur”) is a large muscle group consists of the four muscles on the front of the thigh (Rectus femoris, Vastus medialis, Vastus lateralis, Vastus intermedius). All four parts of the quadriceps muscle attach to the patella (knee) via the quadriceps tendon. They are crucial in walking, running, jumping and squatting. Because rectus femoris attaches to the ilium, it is also a flexor of the hip. This action is also crucial to walking or running as it swings the leg forward. So people who do those activities (Everyone!!) will be beneficial from getting massages like this!!
