Kat Matthews is a British Endurance Triathlete currently serving in the British Army as a professional long-distance triathlete, she had previously served as a physiotherapist officer and has been a professional long course triathlete for just a few seasons.
Kat shares the origins of how she got started in the sport and how her early success is catalysed into two incredible performances, a silver medal at the World Ironman Triathlon Championships recently held in St. George, and 30 days later taking out the inaugural Sub 8 Sub 7 challenge completing the race in 7:31:54 seconds with an incredible off-the- bike run split of 2:46:09 for the marathon.
