How to Stretch your quads (quadriceps)
This is an effective and safe stretch for people with very tight quads.
If meniscal knee injuries are present and painful -care should be taken or consult with your local therapist before beginning.
Ensure you stay upright and tick your pelvis under, also aim to keep the knees close together.
Transcript
Here we have Peter demonstrating the quad stretch (Level A) pulling your heel up to your bottom, keeping your knees together and keeping up nice and tall. Peter will hold that stretch for 1minute and repeat on the other side. That is a Level A basic quad stretch which is great for knee conditions, hip conditions, lower back pain, running, triathlon and general lower limb sports as well.
